    Liquid Filtration Application

Tell us about your liquid filtration application, and our team will help identify a practical solution for your process. Whether you need a new system or support with existing equipment, share what you know about the liquid, contaminants, operating conditions, and filtration goals. Technical details are helpful but not required; provide what you can, and we will follow up with any questions.

      Application Information

Please provide as much information as you can regarding your application using the fields below. Our industry experts will review your application and use the information you provide to recommend the best products suited to your needs.

Answer what you know. Estimates are helpful, and you may leave technical fields blank if the information is unavailable. Our team can follow up as needed.

If you have any additional notes or context you wish to provide, do so in the field below.

      Process Information

Use the following field to give an overview of your process and why you need filtration.

      Process type
Batch means a set amount of liquid is processed at one time. Continuous means liquid flows through the system while it operates.

      Liquid Properties

Normal liquid temperature during filtration. An estimate is fine.
Pressure at the filter inlet during normal operation.
      psig
How much liquid moves through the filter each minute. Use a pump rating or estimate if available.
      gpm
How heavy the liquid is compared with water, which has a value of 1.0. Check the SDS if available.

      Contaminant Properties

Use the following fields to give us context about the contaminants you want filtered out of your process liquid.

      Type of contaminants being removed
Select all that apply. Solids include particles, sediment, fibers, or sludge. Liquids include a separate liquid such as oil mixed into the process stream.
      Solid Contaminant Properties
Enter a percentage only if known. Choose Weight for a result reported by weight; choose Volume for a known volume fraction.
      %
Do you need to recover the filtered solids?
      Liquid Contaminant Properties
Approximate percentage of the process liquid made up of the contaminant.
      % Volume
If different than the liquid being filtered.

      Filtration Goals

Use the following fields to tell us about what you want to achieve through filtration.

The smallest particle size you need the filter to capture. Leave blank if no particle-size requirement has been established.
      micron
The percentage of particles captured at the target particle size. Use a specification or test requirement if available.
      %
The greatest pressure loss the system can tolerate across the filter. Leave blank if unknown.
      psid
If you have additional details or context you would like to provide on your filtration goals, please list them below.

      Equipment Specifications

Complete only what is known about existing equipment or project requirements. Information from a filter label, vessel nameplate, drawing, or maintenance record is especially helpful.

      Material Specifications

Select only materials specified by your facility, compatibility requirements, or existing equipment. ‘Wetted parts’ are components that touch the process liquid.
      Filter Element/Media
      Filter Vessel
      Gaskets/O-Rings

      Filter Element Specifications

If you have existing filter elements or know what type of filter you need, use the following fields to provide us with the details.
Dimensions are assumed to be in inches unless otherwise provided.
      micron
      Filter performance rating
Choose only if the existing filter documentation identifies it. Nominal is a general rating; absolute is a stated minimum performance rating.
      Filter aid
A material used with the filter media to improve filtration. Select only if it is already used or specified.

      Filter Vessel Specifications

If you have an existing filter vessel or know the specifications of the vessel you need, use the following fields to provide us with the details.
      Design Temperature
The safe operating limits shown on the vessel nameplate or specification. These may differ from normal process conditions.
      Design Pressure
The safe operating limits shown on the vessel nameplate or specification. These may differ from normal process conditions.
      psig
      psig
The flow capacity the vessel is intended to handle.
      gpm
Extra vessel wall thickness specified to allow for corrosion over time.
      Certification requirements
      Vessel Connections
Enter the nominal connection size and choose its connection style. Check a drawing, label, or existing piping if available.
