The Parker SciLog® ChemTec™ automated metering system is a precision pump and process control platform designed for accurate, walk‑away metering in biopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical production. This compact automated laboratory system delivers gravimetric or volumetric control for feed scheduling, chemical metering, pH adjustment, diafiltration and more, with accuracy better than 0.5% error.
ChemTec systems are available with peristaltic, piston or magnetic gear pump heads, allowing you to match the fluid path and performance to your specific process requirements. Integrated programming modes for mass flow, volume flow, diafiltration, pH and manual operation give you flexible control over a wide range of applications, from bioreactor feeding to preparative chromatography.
Designed to interface with a laboratory or process balance, the ChemTec can monitor and maintain solution weight in real time for precise gravimetric control. This capability is ideal for controlling diafiltration operations, maintaining bioreactor volume or tightly regulating critical reagent additions. Automated documentation and user‑defined alarms with pump stop settings help operators focus on other tasks while the system runs safely and reliably in the background.
When paired with Parker’s SciDoc™ software or a printer, the ChemTec system can capture up to 10 real‑time parameters for comprehensive batch records and process traceability, supporting data‑driven optimization and regulatory expectations in GxP environments. The unit’s compact footprint and compatibility with most balances make it easy to integrate into existing bioprocess skids, filtration set‑ups and lab‑scale development systems.
