CLEAR Solutions offers the Facet HCS Series Horizontal High-Flow Coalescer Separator Housing for mobile aviation fuel handling systems. This aviation fuel coalescer separator housing is designed for Category M fuel service and is qualified to EI 1581, 7th Edition, Category M, Type S-LW when used with CMHF coalescer cartridges and SMHF separator cartridges.
The HCS Series uses a dual-stage horizontal design to support fuel-water separation and solids removal in mobile applications where minimal water and particulate contamination are expected. Welded carbon steel construction, an epoxy-coated interior, and a prime-coated exterior help support durability in demanding field environments, while knife edge cartridge mounting seals and support plates help reduce bypass risk and keep elements stable in service.
Built to EI 1596 and ASME Code Section VIII standards, the housing is designed for practical field maintenance with a hinged end-opening cover, swing bolt closures, permanent inlet, outlet, and drain markings, and a choice of rod mount or screw base coalescer cartridge mounting. Flanged or Victaulic inlet/outlet connections support fast system integration, and listed models provide flow rates up to 300 gpm with a design pressure of 150 psi at 250 F.
