Product Description
Facet M Series High Efficiency Pleated Paper Filter Cartridges are pleated paper fuel filter cartridges designed to remove solid contaminants from fuel streams, including rust, dirt, scale, granular material, and similar solids. Positioned for aviation fuel service, this cartridge series provides high efficiency particulate removal with strong solids holding capacity to help extend service life and reduce operating costs.
The M Series uses pleated paper media made from a blend of natural and synthetic fibers bonded with resins for dependable filtration performance throughout the life of the cartridge. Its single-piece construction helps simplify handling and maintenance, while the spiral wound core reduces cartridge weight. All metal components are coated to help protect against corrosion, and optional perforated paper or expanded metal outer wraps are available where added outer support is required.
These cartridges are built with a 6 in outside diameter and 3.5 in inside diameter and are offered in standard nominal lengths of 14.5 in, 28.75 in, and 44 in. Facet also offers Rod Mount and Screw Base configurations to match compatible housings. With outside-to-in flow, a maximum operating temperature of 240 F (115 C), and a maximum differential pressure of 75 psi (5.17 bar), the M Series is a strong fit for fuel filtration applications where reliable particulate control and longer cartridge life are important.
