    Shelco MicroSentry MB Series polypropylene melt blown filter cartridges provide economical depth filtration for water, chemical, food and beverage, and general industrial service. Built from thermally bonded microfibers, these filter cartridges are designed for efficient particulate removal across a broad range of micron ratings in standard liquid filtration housings.

    The MB Series uses a graded density pore structure to create true depth-style filtration, helping improve dirt-holding capacity and extend service life. Its fixed pore construction helps prevent contaminant unloading under higher differential pressure, while 100% polypropylene construction supports broad chemical compatibility. Because the cartridges are manufactured without additives or surfactants, they help reduce the risk of foaming and other undesirable process effects.

    Available in standard 2.5 in OD and 4.5 in BB-style configurations, the MB Series can be specified with multiple end styles and gasket options to match a wide range of housing designs. Typical uses include RO prefiltration, potable water, water and wastewater treatment, plating solutions, food and beverage processing, chemical service, microelectronics, and photographic solutions. Per the manufacturer, the polypropylene materials meet FDA 21 CFR 174.5 and 177.1520, and selected DOE plain-end configurations are NSF/ANSI 42 certified for material requirements only.
