Pharm-A-Line™ VI – Co-Extruded Polyethylene Lined EVA

TBL Plastics’ Pharm-A-Line VI™ and Pharm-A-Line XL™ co-extruded polyethylene lined EVA combine the best properties of two dissimilar materials, providing a clear, seamless, lightweight and flexible product with important benefits.

The liner, (or contact surface), is made of a clear, chemically inert, low-density polyethylene (LDPE) material. LDPE is co-extruded with a high-purity ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA), which gives superior flexibility and clarity along with good burst strength.

While Pharm-A-Line VI™ and Pharm-A-Line XL™ are made of the same base materials, Pharm-A-Line XL is gamma-irradiated, which cross-links the material for even greater thermal, chemical and mechanical performance.

Both Pharm-A-Line VI™ and Pharm-A-Line XL™ are USP Class VI certified. They resist attack from most solvents. Both are plasticizer-free and REACH compliant. Both have excellent barrier characteristics along with very low gas and liquid permeability. Both work well with compression and push-on fittings.

Pharm-A-Line VI and XL meet the most stringent criteria for bio-pharmaceutical product transfer. They are also widely used in the water and printing industries.
