    PLTS-Q50 BioPharma Single-Use Silicone Tubing is a platinum-cured silicone tubing solution designed for single-use fluid transfer and general pumping applications in pharmaceutical and biomedical processing. Manufactured in an ISO 14644-1 Class 7 cleanroom, this translucent tubing offers good clarity and a soft 50 Shore A durometer for compliant handling in transfer lines, cell media processing, and bioreactor support lines.

    PLTS-Q50 was developed as a more economical biopharmaceutical tubing option for operations that need dependable silicone performance in single-use systems. Its low-binding surface helps minimize absorption of proteins and food products, while the material is described by the manufacturer as tasteless, odorless, noncytotoxic, and nonhemolytic. The tubing contains no phthalate plasticizers or peroxides that can leach into transported fluids, supporting cleaner transfer in sensitive processes.
