PROCLEAR PP polypropylene pharmaceutical prefilters provide robust, high-capacity clarification for a wide range of drug product, intermediate, and utility liquids. These pleated, all-polypropylene filters are engineered as pharmaceutical liquid prefilter cartridges to protect downstream sterilizing-grade membranes and critical unit operations while maintaining excellent chemical compatibility.

Using graded-density polypropylene media and an optimized pleat design, PROCLEAR PP elements deliver high throughput to blockage and long service life, even in demanding clarification and prefiltration duties. The rigid all-polypropylene construction resists deformation under differential pressure and aggressive CIP conditions, helping to maintain consistent performance over multiple cycles.

PROCLEAR PP pharmaceutical prefilters are available in micron ratings from fine clarification through coarse particulate removal and in standard 2.5″ to 40″ cartridge lengths, as well as MURUS and DEMICAP capsule formats and syringe filters. This broad configuration range allows easy integration into existing pharmaceutical housings and single-use assemblies for both small-scale development work and full-scale production.

Manufactured under cGMP conditions and flushed with pharmaceutical-grade purified water, PROCLEAR PP filters feature low extractables and low endotoxin levels. Materials of construction comply with FDA 21 CFR Part 177 and USP Class VI requirements, supporting use in biopharmaceutical, vaccine, and sterile API processes where product quality and regulatory compliance are critical.
