Product Description
Parker’s SciLog® Filter & Dispense Bag System is an automated bulk filtration and dispense platform designed to standardize aseptic bag filling operations for biopharmaceutical processes. This single-use system combines bulk filtration, in-line filter integrity testing, and gravimetric dispensing into one compact skid, providing consistent, repeatable performance for bulk drug substance (BDS) and other high-value fluids.
Using a closed flow path with sterile single-use manifolds and DuraPure bags, the SciLog Filter & Dispense Bag System minimizes operator intervention and environmental exposure while accurately filling up to twelve 1–20 L bags per manifold. Integrated automation manages air removal, filter flushing and conditioning, pre- and post-use integrity testing, and gravimetric dispense control to reduce variation and improve overall process robustness.
The system incorporates a Quattroflow single-use pump for filtration and a Watson Marlow or Masterflex peristaltic pump for dispensing, delivering controlled flow rates suitable for a range of bioprocessing applications. Programmable alarms and interlocks, 21 CFR Part 11-compliant SciSoft software, and plant integration via OPC, Profibus, or Ethernet IP support GMP environments and electronic batch record strategies.
Single-use manifolds constructed from platinum-cured silicone, polypropylene, polysulfone, Pharmapure TPE, and polycarbonate are supplied with full documentation, including system and manifold certificates of compliance and gamma irradiation certificates. With a compact 73 in x 36 in x 75 in footprint, ergonomic bag trays, and 99% product recovery from the dispensing spine, the SciLog Filter & Dispense Bag System helps life science manufacturers increase yield, reduce changeover time, and streamline BDS bulk fill operations.
